Real Estate Tax Collection

Honey Brook Borough residents pay three real estate taxes: 

Chester County:  Millage 4.163 
Bills are mailed January 1st.  If you have questions or need additional information, please call (610) 344-6000 and ask for the Treasurer's Office (view website). 

Twin Valley School District:   Millage 28.0028
Mailed July 1st.  If you have questions or need additional information, contact Twin Valley School District tax office at 610-286-8632. 

Honey Brook Borough:  Millage 1.8

Current tax year Invoices will be dated and mailed on February 1.  Discount amount would apply to February, March and April.  Face Amount would be due in May. 

All tax bills from the Treasurer's Office may be paid in person at any Chester County branch of DNB First (Downingtown National Bank).

Chester County and the Borough are on a calendar year; the school district is on a fiscal year from July 1 to June 30.  All three taxes offer a discount period of 60 days from the date of the mailing, a base amount period of the next 60 days, and a 10% penalty added after 120 days.
Borough bills are only mailed to homeowners.   If taxes are escrowed, it is the homeowners responsibility to forward to their mortgage company.
